Bristol Urgent Treatment Centre

The Urgent Treatment Centre is a nurse and paramedic -led walk-in medical centre to support the local community with urgent minor injuries such as sprains, strains or scalds, as well as minor illnesses.

The centre is based at South Bristol Community Hospital, Hengrove Promenade, Hengrove, Whitchurch Lane, Bristol, BS14 0DE (Sat nav postcode: BS14 0DB). Tel: 0300 124 6260

Opening hours: Mon - Sun 08:00-20:00

The centre will see both adults and children. 

Patients can access the service by contacting 111 who, following triage, will book an appointment, or they can just arrive at our Urgent Treatment Centre during opening hours.

Please note, if there have too many seriously ill or vulnerable patients requiring attention, or there is a high volume of patients in the department, they may have to either restrict the service or operate a triage only service. Patients will be informed if this is the case when they arrive at reception.

Clevedon MIU

Clevedon Minor Injury Unit (MIU) offers treatment for adults and children over 12 months of age for a wide range of minor injuries.

Patients can drop in with no appointment necessary. All patients are seen by a Nurse or Paramedic practitioner. X-ray facility on-site.

Open 8am-9pm (last patient admitted 8.30pm), 7 days a week (open 10am-6pm Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day last patient admitted 5.30pm)).

X-ray - Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm,  Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays 10:00am - 5:30pm

 

X-ray for patients referred by GPs - There is now an appointment service for all GP X-Ray requests.

Patients should call Clevedon 01275 342571 to agree a suitable date and time. (Appointment line open: 8.45am-4.15pm Monday to Friday)

Yate MIU

Yate Minor Injury Unit (MIU) offers treatment for adults and children for a wide range of minor injuries that are less than two weeks old. Provided by Sirona care & health, patients can drop in with no appointment necessary or can be referred by a healthcare professional.

The unit is open from 8am until 8pm, seven days a week including bank holidays.

X-ray facilities are available from 8am until 7.30pm, Monday to Friday and from 9am until 5.45pm Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

Broadmead Walk in Centre

The Walk-In Centre at Broadmead Medical Centre, Bristol, is closed.
