Resources for professionals, carers, and patients

Macmillan has produced these videos to introduce patients to prehabilitation and the benefits.

For professionals there are these resources for top tips on physical activity and exercise.

For patients and carers these resources can be used.

SWAG Cancer Alliance

SWAG Cancer Alliance have produced information aimed at staff working with people with cancer for signposting, as well as for patients & their family to access at home.

They aim to help patients to keep as fit and healthy as possible before they begin treatment. To prepare physically, mentally and emotionally for their cancer journey and to introduce the concept of prehabilitation.

This information page was designed with lead physiotherapists, OTs, Psychologists, dieticians & Speech & Language Therapists and gives advice on Exercise, Nutrition and Wellbeing.
