Which service?

The attached Professionals 3-way grid may be useful in deciding which mental health service is required.

NHS 111

Mental Health 111 provides 24-hour expert advice, assessment and support for individuals, their children, or someone they care for with mental health difficulties.   

Dial 111 - Select Mental Health Option 2

If the situation is life-threatening, patients should dial 999 for emergency help. 

NHS Talking Therapies

The VitaHealth NHS Talking Therapies receives referrals and have also set up online access to CBT modules and other resources. See Talking Therapies page in Remedy

PCLS/Triage

Receives and triages referrals to secondary care MH services See Primary Care Liasion Service - AWP for more details
