Cancer Prehabilitation and Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Outpatient Service

To access this service you must be under the care of a North Bristol NHS Trust Consultant for your Cancer.

The cancer prehabilitation and rehabilitation physiotherapy outpatient service, is here to help patients living with and beyond cancer, with any of the following concerns:

  • Getting fitter for surgery and treatment
  • Managing pain
  • Getting movement back after surgery or cancer treatment
  • Staying fit during treatment
  • Maintaining independence
  • Getting back to or staying in work
  • Exercise or activity
  • Fatigue
  • Breathlessness

Please see the attached self-management resources for patients which includes advice on physical activity, fatigue, Osteoporosis, managing pain and exercise guidance for specific cancer sites.

During COVID-19 consultations are being offered by video and telephone.

Please do get in touch with questions or feedback. We are also happy to deliver education events to primary care services and clinicians.

Patients can be referred using the referral form or can self-refer on the same form.
