Arts on Referral for Neuromuscular Condition - NBT

Description of service

  • six-week Arts on Referral programme designed for people living with a neuromuscular condition 
  • All materials will be provided.
  • Programmes run from 10am – 12noon
  • designed to follow on from the Living Well groups that patients may have taken part in and to help find ways to manage wellbeing while living with a neuromuscular condition

The Arts on Referral programme offers a safe, creative and enjoyable space in which to:

  • Take some time to support your own wellbeing
  • Find out how being creative can lead to relaxation and enjoyment
  • Meet and share with others in a similar situation to your own

The next programme will take place:

  • 20 February - 26 March 2024 online (Zoom welcome session on 14 February)
  • 23 April - 28 May (either online or art room tbc)
    (Zoom welcome session on 16 April)

Who to refer: 

You don’t have to be artistic to take part. The group is open to anyone living with a neuromuscular condition and registered with the SWNODN. Whether or not you think you are creative.

To participate in the online sessions, beginning on Tuesday 20th February you will need internet access and a laptop or tablet to take part.

How to refer:
