At the meeting on the 8th June the following decisions were agreed
New Drug Requests
Approved
VeraSeal® (TLS Red)
- for improvement of haemostatis in paediatric surgery
Budesonide/formoterol (Symbicort 100/3 pMDI) (TLS Green)
- the pMDI formulation has been approved as an option for moderate to severe asthma
Shared Care Protocols/TLS changes
New SCPs:
Phenobarbital (new SCP, previously Phenobarbital was awaiting a SCP)
Levetiracetam (new SCP, previously Levetiractam was awaiting a SCP)
Brivaracetam (new SCP following approval of TLS Change from TLS Red to TLS Amber SCP)
Updated SCPs:
