Anti-infectives
Betamethasone 0.1% and Neomycin 0.5% (Betnesol-N®) (TLS Green)
Dexamethasone 0.1% / Neomycin 3250units/mL spray (Otomize®) (TLS Green)
Alternative:
Hydrocortisone 1% / Gentamicin 0.3% drops (Gentisone HC®) (TLS Blue)
Dexamethasone 0.05% / Framycetin 0.5% / Gramicidin 0.005% drops (Sofradex®) (TLS blue)
Flumetasone pivalate 0.02% / Clioquinol 1% drops (Locorten-Vioform®) (TLS Blue)
Clotrimazole 1% solution (TLS Blue)
Ciprofloxacin 0.3% / Dexamethasone 0.1% (TLS Blue)
- Prescribe as per microbial sensitivities
Triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% / Gramicidin 0.025% / Neomycin sulphate 0.25% / Nystatin 100,000 units/g ointment (Otocomb Otic Ear®) (TLS Red)
- To be prescribed after ear drops
- For second line use in ENT clinic
