The ENT team at St Michaels Hospital offer a rapid access (HOT) clinic for urgent ENT problems not requiring admission.

Please note: This is an SHO led clinic and is not suitable for complex patients. Any complex urgent patients should be referred to the normal paediatric ENT service.
Referrals for the paediatric ENT HOT clinic can be made directly via eRS (Acute ENT Paediatric Emergency Clinic) and marked 'urgent' . To avoid any delays they do not need to come via the Referral Service. Referrals will be triaged by a consultant via a Referral Assessment Service (RAS) and actioned by the ENT team. If more appropriate, referrals may be redirected to a routine clinic or returned to the GP with advice.
