Bristol

Bristol Drugs Project

The Bristol Drugs Project Youth Work Team  support young people who live in Bristol and are using alcohol or any drug. They work with young people aged 11 to 19 years or up to aged 25 if they have a learning difficulty or disability.

The team also offer support to young people who are affected by family substance use.

They aim to help young people deal with problems early, before they experience a greater level of harm.

North Somerset

Substance Advice Service (SAS)

SAS provide a service for young people in North Somerset who would like support, information or advice about drugs and alcohol. The SAS work directly with young people who are using drugs, alcohol or tobacco and want support to stop their use.

We can meet with young people wherever they feel most comfortable. Whether at home, in the community, at school/college or in our offices, the service we provide is friendly, accessible, and accommodating.

A young person can refer themselves by contacting us directly or, with the individual's permission, a referral can be made by a parent, carer or professional.

There is no waiting list and there is no charge for the service.

Young people's Drug & Alcohol service

Young people's Drug & Alcohol Service A confidential service based within South Gloucestershire for young people that can offer the support that best fits their needs; someone to talk to, advice and information on reducing harm and on-going sessions to explore the things they’re struggling with.   • ask an adult such as a parent, teacher, learning mentor, youth worker, school health nurse or doctor to contact us for you

Young people with complex needs

The Young People’s Substance Misuse Treatment Service works with young people between 12 and 18 years of age who have more problematic use of any drug or alcohol, or who have additional mental health needs alongside their substance use. This service is part of the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
