VOSCUR

VOSCUR Voluntary sector directory – this tends to be VCSE organisations that are more neighbourhood/community groups than what people think of as charity-led ‘providers'.

Changes Bristol

Mental health charity, Changes Bristol, has set up a befriending service that matches people with trained volunteer befrienders who will arrange weekly phone calls to see how they are doing and offer a friendly non-judgmental ear.

Their peer support groups are also free to attend and available to anyone - no need for a diagnosis or referral.  Additional peer support groups have recently opened in South Bristol in partnership with Knowle West Health Park and BS3 Community.
