Care Connect & Care Navigator

Care Connect is a telephone helpline providing support and information on social care issues (social services, housing, benefits and other support) for all North Somerset residents, their families and carers. 

Care Navigator Service provides free advice and support to people aged 18 years and over who are financially responsible for their social care needs.

Community Connect is a service for people over 50 living in North Somerset who would like information, advice or guidance to help them stay living independently at home.

Alliance –Support Services

Alliance Homes is a community based social housing provider operating in the West of England. They provide homes that are affordable in terms of rent and running costs and provide a range of care and support services to help individuals get the most out of life.

Access to advice and support is available if you care for a family member or friend. Access is free as it is funded by North Somerset Council for people over 18.

You don’t have to live in one of their homes to be able to access the support services.

Voluntary Action North Somerset

Voluntary Action North Somerset has the following mission 'to represent, develop and empower the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in North Somerset to be at the forefront of positive social change and development'.

Community Transport in North Somerset

Community transport services help people with limited mobility travel door-to-door for shopping trips, medical appointments and days out.

Most community transport operators will take patients to hospital appointments.
