TOXBASE is the clinical toxicology database of the UK National Poisons Information Service.
Members of the public can ring NHS111 to get advice on suspected poisoning.
Health care professionals can access the data base via the TOXBASE log in page if their practice has an account.
GPs can also individually download the TOXBASE App in order to get access (free to download, takes about 5 minutes to register and requires an nhs.net email account and GMC number).
