The South West Neuromuscular Operational Delivery Network (SWNODN) provides a specialist service for patients with neuromuscular conditions. Patients will be seen by members of the Multidisciplinary team and once seen, if appropriate, patients can opt to be registered for ongoing support.

ADULTS (18yrs +) - Specialist Neuromuscular Clinics - NBT
Dr Andria Merrison or Dr Clare Wood-Allum Consultant Neurologist, hold specialist neuromuscular clinics at Southmead Hospital. Each clinic gives patients access to a specialist neuromuscular physiotherapist, a neuromuscular advisor and a psychologist
Referrals to NBT must be sent under the Neuromuscular service via e-RS.
CHILDREN (0-17yrs) - Specialist Neuromuscular Clinics - BRCH
Dr Anirban Majumdar or Dr Archana Murugan Consultant Paediatric Neurologists hold specialist neuromuscular clinics at Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital. Referrals should be submitted via eRS. Please see website for further information: Paediatric Neurology Page Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
