Ara - Recovery for all

 Ara - Recovery for all - provide free, confidential and non-judgemental gambling information, advice and counselling for those impacted by gambling harms (both the gambler and any ‘affected others’).

They provide this free service in partnership with Gamcare as part of the National Gambling Treatment Service, and cover the whole of BNSSG. They are the regional provider for the South West of England and the national provider for Wales.

South West Gambling Service (AWP)

The South West Gambling Service is launching in September 2023. It will provide free confidential support to people across the region affected by gambling addiction. Support will include cognitive behavioural therapy; group sessions; virtual sessions; and support for families and carers.

The first hub will open in Bristol, before launching across the region by December 2023.

GamCare

GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. They operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.
