Rhinopyhma – More common in men. Commonly associated with untreated rosacea but can be present without other signs.
Rare variant of rosacea – Granulomatous Rosacea.
Consider differential diagnosis of Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with photosensitive rash in butterfly distribution, particularly in young women.
Ocular involvement is an indication for systemic rather than topical treatment and if Keratitis is suspected prompt referral to Ophthalmologist is advised.
